Free Peninsula Map!

It's Monday so that means another free map!  We went in a different direction this week opting to focus on a single Peninsula.  As usual, this one is a free world map that is 100% free for your personal use.  This map is devoid of city/town markers, mountains, forests, or anything else which leaves you free to add anything you want to the map with ease.  Please feel free to leave thoughts on this map or the series of free maps in general in the comments section or email us by clicking on the "Email Us" scroll in the far right hand column.

Game of Thrones: Brienne of Tarth Cast

Writer George Martin announced recently that the part of Brienne of Tarth will be played by Gwendoline Christie.  Christie is a British actress of considerable size (6'3) which makes her a good fit for the Maid of Tarth.  According to Martin the casting of Christie was easy and he believes that she will thrive alongside the rest of the cast.

Weird Board Games

Most people who like RPGs also enjoy board games.  I am big fan of Arkham Horror, Talisman, Battles of Westeros, and many others.  That having been said, those are normal board games.  I'm not sure that I would enjoy bizarre board games like Ghettopoly.  That is one of only five controversial games that yahoo recently listed on their plugged in feature.  Reading about some of these really made me wonder how they made it past the conception phase!

Free World Map!

Normally we do these every Monday but today there is bonus free map!  This one is a free world map that is 100% free for your personal use.  This map is devoid of city/town markers, mountains, forests, or anything else which leaves you free to add anything you want to the map with ease.  Please feel free to leave thoughts on this map or the series of free maps in general in the comments section or email us by clicking on the "Email Us" scroll in the far right hand column.

A Game of Thones is #1

A Game of Thones was not a number one best seller when it was released in 1996.  Fast forward to today, and not only will you find it atop the NY Times best seller list, you will find the sequels on the list as well.  I think we can be fairly confident that in a couple of weeks we will see a fifth book from the A Song of Ice and Fire series on that list as well!

Free Map - Independance Day Edition!

A Game of Thrones Combat Recreated

If you are a fan of the hit television show Game of Thrones then you will like this.

An online series called Fight Class goes through and recreates the fight scene explaining it as they go.  For their second episode they decided to do one of the best scenes from the first season of A Game of Thrones, Tyrion's trial by combat.
