Monday Map - Alternate History

This week we're doing something a little different.  Instead of a free blank map I'm presenting an alternate history map that I made.  It depicts the division of the United States of America into several smaller nations.  I just did the map for fun and as a bit of an experiment.  I took some things learned here and applied them to next weeks map, which will be another free blank map for those of you who are interested, and it is already starting to look good.

So enjoy this map and stay tuned for another great one next week!

Very good looking and interesting map. Partly so as the Confederacy does not contain the heartland of the Confederacy (Georgia, the Carolinas and Virginia). It also seems likely a fractured US would have a different Mexican border as well as one with Western Canada.

@Seaofstarsrpg - Thanks. I didn't want to do a typical north south division. There's already a great map that does that for the Shattered Frontier. I imagined the split taking place much later in the wake of WWII where the allies lost the war. Is it realistic? Definitely not. But it was fun to make!

How about that... The podcast on my blog for next Wednesday (already recorded and on my podcast feed) is pitching alternate history, namely for fantasy worlds, as a way of dealing with boredom or over familiarity. Anyway, I like the map.
