The 15 Kings of Caliburn

Finally finished the shields for the 15 Kings of Caliburn.  First the old versions...

Again, just click on the image for a larger version.  Please feel free to leave feedback in the comments section and let me know what you think of the new versions!

I'm a sucker for heraldry, so good job on these.

The eagle on the blue-and-white gyronny might need a colour change for a bit more contrast. Maybe not.

I think the contrast might be a bit low for the phoenix too. But in general I like them a lot.

I hope there's an interesting reason why that horse is running away.

I've got little stories I'm working on behind each, with a little explanation for the various aspects of each banner. Hopefully I'll be able to post them later this week.

Thanks for the feedback! I think you may be right about the Phoenix, I'll probably have to go back and rework it a bit.

So you used that online tool you linked to for the first versions and then Photoshop for the advanced versions? Because I'd like to know how to do something like that for my own campaigns.

I think they are fantastic, in all sense of the word.

Thanks AJ!

The Old shields were made with that generator while the new ones were made in Photoshop. I used the CS4 version, but I'm sure older versions would work just as well for doing something like this.
